Hornet Moth

Known from a number of sites in Bath and one in Weston-super-Mare.&nbsp; Likely to be under-recorded, but even so, undoubtedly a rare and local moth within the county.<br>

Goat Moth

Previously widespread in southern Britain but now much declined. Only 3 county records since 1960 and none since&nbsp; 1992.

Leopard Moth

Widespread and regularly
recorded, if thinly distributed and usually uncommon. Most records are of low
numbers to garden light traps, though it is occasionally recorded in
considerable numbers on nature reserves.
