most but not every year in low numbers.&nbsp;
Associated with oak, and perhaps under-recorded, especially in the west
of the county.

Larch Tortrix

Rare, with just five county
records: West Luccombe (1998, 2002), Merryfield (1994), Bridgwater (1960) and
Leigh Woods (pre-1906).&nbsp; Associated with
larch, and perhaps targeted searches in plantations containing larch might
produce more records.

Spruce-bud Moth

Scarce, with scattered records
across the county.&nbsp; Associated with
spruce, and spruce plantations are a rarely-recorded habitat, so may be more
widespread and common than normally supposed.
