Feathered Stem-moth

Very rare, only known from the east of the county, and no
records since 2004.&nbsp; Closworth (2004),
Arnos Vale, Bristol (2004), Bath (2001), Bannerdown (2001), Walton (1933) and
Brislington (pre-1906).

Pied Smudge

Fairly common as a visitor to garden light traps,
occasionally present in numbers in woodland.&nbsp;
Associated with field maple, and like its foodplant is fairly widespread
in Somerset but absent from certain areas, including the Levels and inland
Exmoor.

Elm Smudge

Very rare.&nbsp; West
Luccombe (1990) and Batcombe (pre-1945).
