Orange-tailed Clearwing

Pheromone lures have considerably increased our knowledge of this moth, and it appears to have a scattered distribution across much of the county, perhaps especially in the Poldens and Mendips.<br>

Red-tipped Clearwing

A scattering of records across the county, with a concentration on Shapwick Heath.&nbsp; Pheromone lures have given a few new sites but have not yet given a better picture of its distribution.<br>

Sallow Clearwing

A single record from Edford Wood in the East Mendips in 2002; yet to be found again, despite the availability of pheromone lures.&nbsp; There is plenty of suitable habitat in this area.<br>
