Grey Apple Pigmy

A leaf-miner on Apple Malus&nbsp;spp.&nbsp; There are few records from the county, and it is probably very under-recorded rather than rare.&nbsp; There is a concentration of records around Cheddar and Winscombe, and a scatter elsewhere.

Downland Pigmy

A leaf-miner of various low-growing Rosaceae - Tormentil Potentilla erecta, Salad Burnet&nbsp;Sanguisorba minor&nbsp;and others.&nbsp; The moth is only known from records made in 1984 at both Shapwick Heath and Langford Heathfield, all referring to f. serella&nbsp;which feeds on Tormentil.&nbsp; It may well still be present, at these sites or elsewhere.

Dropwort Pigmy

Current thinking is that this is a single species, mining Dropwort Filipendula vulgaris&nbsp;and Meadowsweet Filipendula ulmaria.&nbsp; At various times in the past, the species has been split and the Meadowsweet-feeding examples have been considered a separate species, S. ulmariae.&nbsp; In Somerset, the species is only known from a mine on Meadowsweet at Rowberrow Warren in 2019.
