Mullein Wave

Largely a coastal moth in Somerset.&nbsp; Well known from the Exmoor coast, especially Hurlstone Point, and from the coast between Burnham-on-Sea and Clevedon.&nbsp; A scatter of records elsewhere with no real pattern to them, suggesting dispersal/migration.&nbsp; Bivoltine here.

Plain Wave

Scattered and local, though recorded in small numbers every year.&nbsp; Commonest around the Quantocks, the Exmoor coast and around Merriot; a scattering of other record suggesting there may be a few colonies on the Mendips and elsewhere.

Lace Border

Last recorded in Somerset in 1984.&nbsp; A scarce and much declined moth of calcareous grassland, now restricted mainly to south-east England.&nbsp;
