Garden Midget

Unusually for a Phyllonorycter, this species feeds from a range of hostplants - both deciduous and evergreen oaks, beech and sweet chestnut.&nbsp; It is an extremely common and widespread moth in Somerset.<br>

A leaf-miner on oak.&nbsp; Records from Batcombe, Brislington and Norton Fitzwarren, all pre-1945.<br>

Common Oak Midget

Likely under-recorded, in common with all oak-feeding Phyllonorycters, but the most frequently recorded of them; most likely common and abundant right across the county.<br>
