Large Saltmarsh Conch

A coastal species associated with sea-aster Aster
tripolium.&nbsp; Only nine records, but
all are within the last 50 years and stretch the length of the Somerset coast.

Golden-rod Conch

Reported once, in the 1906 Victoria County History from
Abbots Leigh (presumably Leigh Woods).&nbsp;
The foodplant, Goldenrod Solidago virgaurea, occurs there but is
local within the county, most commonly being found in the upland west, where it
is possible the moth might be overlooked.

Water-mint Conch

Eight records, scattered widely across the county.&nbsp; Colonised a Holcombe garden pond from
2018-2020, which suggests it is possibly very under-recorded; the foodplant is
water-mint Mentha aquatica.
