Widely distributed across the county though rarely in any numbers, with most records being of single individuals to garden light-traps.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Pretty Pinion

Generally a northern, moorland species associated with eyebrights <i>Euphrasia</i> spp.&nbsp; Seven records in Somerset, the only ones in the current century being from the Quantocks, where it may possibly be resident.

Grass Rivulet

Flies by day as well as coming to light at night.&nbsp; The moth requires old hay-meadows where yellow-rattle is allowed to set seed, and has much declined as a result of habitat loss.&nbsp; There are local populations scattered across the county, with concentrations of records around Bath and between the Quantocks and Blackdowns.&nbsp; Formerly widely recorded from the area around Shapwick and Ashcott, there are no records from there more recently than 1993.
