Old records from Bath, Shapwick, Street, Stoke-sub-Hamdon and the Quantocks, the most recent being in 1977, and probably now extinct within the county.&nbsp; A species in decline nationally.<br>

Lunar Hornet Moth

Historically this has been a difficult moth to survey for, though the recent introduction of a specific pheromone for it should help matters.&nbsp; A good proportion of the records are from exit holes on felled sallows.&nbsp; A scattering of records across the county, suggesting it is perhaps the most widespread and common of the clearwings here.<br>
