Rare; two records from the
Blackdowns in 2004 and 2005.&nbsp; The
foodplant, field-maple <i>Acer campestre</i>, is very common in parts of the
county.

Pigmy Y Piercer

Unrecorded since the 1930s, until
unexpectedly turning up at a number of locations in 2023; one of these was
reared from a spinning on sallow, confirming its residency in the county.

Five pre-1940 records: Abbots
Leigh, Portishead, Batcombe, Misterton, Haselbury Plucknett.&nbsp; Not seen in the county since.
