    A nationally scarce moth of open, sheltered, sunny, semi-natural woodland. It flies by day, in sunny weather. Larval foodplant is Wood Spurge. Historically very rare and local in north Somerset, around Bath, Brislington, Weston-super-mare, Portishead and Downhead. Not recorded since the early 1980s.
