Kent Black Arches

A recent arrival, now likely to be locally resident with multiple records from some sites.&nbsp; The first record was in 2009; the moth has been increasingly frequently recorded since 2014, though is still being reported less than 10 times a year.

Widely distributed and frequently recorded across the county, though never in any great numbers.

Small Black Arches

Just six records of this species to date, 1964-2015.&nbsp; There are two each from Weston-super-Mare and the Great Breach Wood/Butleigh area, suggesting there may be small populations here.&nbsp; Also recorded from Over Stowey and Hurlstone Point.
