Small Fan-footed Wave

The most frequently encountered of the smaller waves, likely to be found anywhere in the county.&nbsp; Numbers seem to be holding up reasonably well, though drop noticeably in wet summers.

Single-dotted Wave

A reasonably widespread and frequently encountered moth, though in common with many species, numbers have dropped away since 2006, and, in the case of this species, still appear to be declining.

Treble Brown Spot

One of the commoner of the waves, regularly recorded across most of the county.&nbsp; Scarce or absent from inland Exmoor (lack of recording?) and parts of eastern Somerset.
