Dwarf Cream Wave

A local species, common around Minehead, Taunton and the Parrett estuary north to Weston-super-Mare.&nbsp; Quite scarce in the east of the county, and seems to have disappeared from the Yeovil/Crewkerne area where it used to be frequently recorded.&nbsp; Numbers of the moth collapsed following the poor summer of 2007 and have never fully recovered.

Least Carpet

A 19th century coloniser of south-east England which has spread more widely into East Anglia and southern England in recent decades.&nbsp; Still a rare species in Somerset.

Silky Wave

A very rare species, found only in the Avon Gorge area and two parts of Wales. Occupies limestone cliffs and downs with the larval foodplant, Common Rock-rose.
