Narrow-bordered Bee Hawk-moth

SphingidaeABH 69.008 B&F 1982A much-declined moth of damp grasslands where it is associated with Devil's Bit Scabious Succisa pratensis. It still exists in the county on the landslips at Blue Anchor cliffs. The moth was regularly found around Blagdon Lake, but has not been recorded since 2011, and there is a 2014 record from Sand Bay. Long since lost from the rest of the county.
