Alder Kitten

The scarcest of the three kittens, recorded in small numbers most years, but not every year.&nbsp; It is much more frequently recorded in the south and west of the county, being very rarely reported from VC6.

Puss Moth

Still occurs right across the county, though is rarer than it once was, and is becoming an unusual sight in parts of northern and eastern Somerset.

Sallow Kitten

The commonest of the three kittens - though rarely found in any numbers - it occurs thinly right across the county.
