Scabious Conch

A moth of chalk and limestone downland, sparingly recorded in recent years and probably less common than it was.&nbsp; Of the four 21st century records, three are from Brean Down.

Marbled Conch

A few records are made of this species most years.&nbsp; Most records are of small numbers of adults
to light in gardens, but it also flies by day.&nbsp;
Largely absent from the east of the county, but can be very common on
parts of Exmoor.

Vine Moth

A nationally scarce moth of heathland and woodland.&nbsp; It can be a pest on the continent, where it feeds on grape vine. There are just two county records, from the same Yeovil garden, in 2008 and 2012.
