Satyr Pug

Rare - only 37 records in total and very few within the last decade.&nbsp; Little real pattern to the records.&nbsp; Nationally, it can be associated with both moorland and chalk downland.

Triple-spotted Pug

Scarce and local, a few records most years, occasionally altogether absent.&nbsp; Although there are recent records from much of the county, most are from west of Taunton.

Freyer's Pug

Widespread, but local, throughout the county in low numbers.&nbsp; The main foodplants in Somerset are probably ornamental cypresses, and as a result it tends to be more frequently met with in urban areas.
