Triple-spotted Pug

Scarce and local, a few records most years, occasionally altogether absent.&nbsp; Although there are recent records from much of the county, most are from west of Taunton.

Lime-speck Pug

A moth of species-rich grassland, associated with low-growing composites.&nbsp; Widespread, though apparently absent from inland Exmoor.&nbsp; Most records are of small numbers at light, though it can occasionally be fairly common.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Pinion-spotted Pug

A nationally scarce species of hedgerows and woodland edges, and sometimes orchards and gardens, which has always been very rare in the county. The larval foodplant is Hawthorn. May come to light later in the night.
