Fairly common, certainly by the
standards of the genus; more frequent in the south and west of the county.

Dingy Spruce Bell

Very rare with just two records:
“ST45” (1980) and Haselbury Plucknett (1939).&nbsp;
Associated with spruce, and possibly worth searching for in some of the
many spruce plantations scattered around the county.

Nut-bud Moth

Widespread though not especially
frequently recorded, with a few being reported every year.&nbsp; Like many micros, it is probably much more
common than records suggest, especially as the foodplant (hazel) is an abundant
species.
