Drab Birch Pigmy

A leaf-miner feeding on birch.&nbsp; It appears to occur wherever there are extensive stands of birch, and is likely to be more widespread than the map suggests.

Sorrel Pigmy

This is Britain's smallest moth, and it is invariably recorded as a leaf-mine.&nbsp; It is extremely local, but leaf-mines are abundant where it occurs.&nbsp; To date it has only been recorded from Hurlstone Point, Priddy Mineries and Ubley Warren (the latter not yet mapped).&nbsp; It might occur at other sites with very short turf, bare ground, and an abundance of sorrels.
