Bordered Marble

Fairly common coastally, scarcer but widely distributed
inland.&nbsp; Like E. gentianaeana, the
larvae can be found frequently within the heads of Teasel Dipsacus fullonum,
although this particular species also uses other hostplants.

Teasel Marble

Common wherever Teasel Dipsacus fullonum occurs, and
most records are of reared larvae.&nbsp; The
adults require dissection for determination.

Downland Marble

Scarce, and associated with dry, free-draining habitats –
the dunes at Berrow and the limestone areas of the Mendips being the most
frequently reported locations.
