Two-dotted Dwarf

Three records, all pre-1939, from Leigh Woods, Misterton and Haselbury Plucknett.&nbsp; The moth could potentially still occur in the county, as the foodplant glaucous sedge Carex flacca is common in calcareous areas.

Small Wood-rush Dwarf

No definite records of this species, but may well have been reared from hairy wood-rush Luzula pilosa from Leigh Woods by P. H. Vaughan in 1858.&nbsp; The plant is relatively common in Somerset and there are records of the moth from adjoining counties.

Twin-barred Dwarf

A scatter of records across the centre and east of the county, and likely to be under-recorded; not recorded yet from upland western Somerset.&nbsp; Most, though not all, records are from calcareous sites.&nbsp; The foodplants are species of Carex and Luzula.
