Pinch-barred Pigmy

Fairly widespread and common throughout the county, with gaps in distribution probably reflecting lack of recording.&nbsp; The usual foodplant is hawthorn, but it also mines apple and possibly other related trees and shrubs.

White-spot Pigmy

Fairly common as a miner on oaks in varying numbers, though never as abundant as Ectoedemia subbimaculella which makes mines at much the same time.&nbsp; Probably to be found anywhere in the county with decent populations of oak.

Bent-barred Pigmy

A miner on wild roses.&nbsp; Much less common than Stigmella anomalella which shares the foodplant, this moth seems to be scarce, local and variable in numbers, preferring calcareous areas.
