Leek Moth

Formerly rare, now quite common and widespread.&nbsp; Can be a pest on cultivated leeks, and unsurprisingly most records are of moths to light in gardens.

Spikenard Fanner

Nationally, a rare species of calcareous grassland.&nbsp; On the Somerset list thanks to a record in
the 1906 Victoria County History from Abbots Leigh (probably Leigh Woods), and
not recorded since. Associated with ploughman’s spikenard.

Fleabane Fanner

Fairly common but quite local; most of the records are the
work of a small number of recorders, suggesting the moth may be considerably
under-reported.&nbsp; Comes to light but also
frequently recorded by looking for the mines on fleabane, which can sometimes
be numerous.
