Burnished Brass

Still found right across the county and fairly common, but
not as abundant as it once was; records of 10 or more at light were not
infrequent until about a decade ago.

Dewick's Plusia

An immigrant species that was first recorded in the county in 2008, since when there have been a few more records.

Scarce Burnished Brass

A scarce, resident, species restricted to south-west Wales and southern England. Turner (1955) said that one very old July record from Bath must be considered doubtful. There are no modern records in the county.
