Associated with gorse <i>Ulex</i>
spp, and restricted by the range of its hostplants, though can occur in good
numbers even at quite isolated sites (Haydon batch, near Radstock, being a good
example).&nbsp; Abundant at some sites on the
Mendip scarp and in the Poldens.&nbsp; Likely
to be more widespread than the maps indicate on Exmoor.

scattered across the county.
