White Oak Case-bearer

Evidently fairly scarce; there ar five records of this oak-feeding coleophorid - larval cases at Merryfield (2005, 2006, 2007) and adults at light at Berrow (2006) and Leigh Woods (2001).

Pistol Case-bearer

Formerly fairly frequently recorded (by coleophorid standards), mostly from the western Mendips and around Taunton, but it was last seen in Somerset in 2013.&nbsp; Occasionally found at light, but most records have been of larval cases on blackthorn Prunus spinosa and apple Malus domestica; other, related foodplants have been used elsewhere in the country.

White Sallow Case-bearer

Five records, the most recent at light, the remainder of larval cases on Salix spp.&nbsp; Thurlbear (2017), Chard Junction (1999), Shapwick Heath (1984), Street Heath (1979), Haselbury Plucknett (pre-1939).&nbsp; A worrying lack of recent records from the Shapwick area.
