White-bodied Conch

Thinly but widely recorded across the county, usually as an
adult to light at flower-rich semi-natural sites; it appears not to wander into
gardens.

Birch Conch

Scarce, but perhaps under-recorded.&nbsp; Associated with birch, and most records are
associated with areas where birch occurs in numbers – principally upland
western Somerset and the Shapwick peatlands.

Rosy Conch

Fairly widespread across the county, perhaps especially near
the coast.&nbsp; It occurs at light but can
also be found by searching the seed-heads of teasels <i>Dipsacus fullonum</i>
in the winter for the larvae.

Cochylis roseana

Rosy Straw
