Widespread and common right across the county, sometimes being recorded in good numbers, especially in areas with plenty of species-rich grassland.

Vine's Rustic

Widespread throughout the county, but by no means evenly distributed, being recorded to light in very large numbers in some gardens, and as a rarity in others.&nbsp; Unlike its close relatives Rustic and Uncertain, this species is double-brooded.

Silky Wainscot

A species of drier reed-beds which may wander into other habitats.&nbsp; Turner (1955) considered it to be very rare, noting just two records, from Bridgwater in 1922 and Taunton in 1953. Since then it has been recorded irregularly in varying numbers.&nbsp;
