Hawthorn Moth

A local species, but occasionally quite common where it occurs.&nbsp; Most records are from coastal north Somerset and the Mendips, and in the Blackdowns.

Dark Ash-bud Moth

Relatively recently split from <i>P. fraxinella</i>.&nbsp; Unrecorded in the county before 2015, it has been seen every year since, with over half the records in 2020.

Bindweed Bent-wing

Almost all records are of larvae on bindweed; it appears to be not uncommon.&nbsp; The distribution map suggests this is a local species, but this may just reflect the areas where recorders have searched for the moth.
