Bactra lancealana

    Common Lance

    TortricidaeABH 49.194 B&F 1111

Fairly common across the county, though especially frequently recorded on Exmoor, the Blackdowns and the Gordano valley.  Most records are of small numbers of adults to light, but the moth also flies by day, and on appropriate habitat – marshy ground with plenty of rushes – it can be seen by day in good numbers.

    Adult Verification Grade: 2
