Fairly widespread and frequently recorded in a central part of the county bounded by Taunton, Street and Yeovil; scattered and local elsewhere, though appears to be holding its own.

Clouded Brindle

This moth is fairly frequently recorded but scarce, usually being recorded as single individuals to light.&nbsp; It is patchily distributed, common from the Quantocks south-eastwards via Taunton and the Blackdowns towards Crewkerne, along parts of the coast, and around Bath and Bristol, but rare elsewhere.

Widespread across the county, frequently recorded in small numbers, becoming noticeably more numerous on Exmoor.
