Flame Brocade

Formerly resident in East Sussex until the late 19th century, it has become established as resident in Dorset and East Sussex since around 2011. Otherwise, it is an immigrant.&nbsp; There is a county record from Great Breech Wood in 1980.&nbsp;

Brindled Green

This moth may be under-recorded as it flies relatively late in the year.&nbsp; It is frequently encountered in the south of the county, but absent from inland Exmoor and from north of the Poldens, reappearing, rather less frequently, north of the Mendips.

Grey Chi

A species of moorland and grass hillsides, mainly from Wales north to Scotland. Turner (1955) listed it as a northern species that turned up in the county occasionally. There are several modern county records, but numbers recorded have fallen since the 1990s.&nbsp;&nbsp;Recent records seem to be concentrated on
the Midsomer Norton/Radstock area.
