Cherry Lift

This species has recently been split into two distinct species - 'true' A. treitschkiella is now known to be associated with cornelian cherry Cornus mas, and has not been recorded to date in Somerset (in Britain now known only from the London area).&nbsp; The former Somerset records for this species are all now attributable to A. petryi.

Eight records, four from Chard Junction (1992-1999), also from Minehead (2022), Batcombe (pre-1945), Shapwick (1937) and Brislington (pre-1906).

Four-spot Lift

Normally recorded as a leaf-mine (on dogwood, Cornus sanguinea), though very occasionally comes to light.&nbsp; Widely distributed and not rare, though significantly less abundant than its close relative Antispila petryi, which shares its foodplant.
