Ancylis upupana

    Southern Hook-wing

    TortricidaeABH 49.206 B&F 1121

Very rare in the county, possibly now lost as a resident.  Most records are from the well-recorded Shapwick Heath, where it was last seen in 2004.  Historically known from Penselwood in the far south-east of the county.  Associated with birch, and could feasibly be overlooked in some upland parts of the county.
