Rare, and only distinguishable with difficulty from the much more abundant A. heracliana.&nbsp; The only records this century are from Wells and Periton.

Brindled Flat-body

Widespread and frequently recorded, usually as single moths to light in gardens, occasionally in numbers.

Common Flat-body

Probably the commonest of the Agonopterix species in the county, and recorded from everywhere except inland Exmoor, with most records being of adults at light in gardens.
