Ruddy Flat-body

Fairly widespread although not exactly common, a few being recorded in most years at light-traps in gardens.&nbsp; For some reason it is rarely observed on nature reserves.<br>

Greenweed Flat-body

Formerly widely distributed across the county, but its foodplant, dyer's greenweed, has declined to the point where it is itself a county rarity, and the moth has only recently been recorded from Merryfield, where a population seems to be persisting.<br>

Thistle Flat-body

Very rare, only ever recorded from Berrow and West Luccombe, and from neither location since 1996.<br>
